🌼🌿 QTBIPOC KIN + ALLIES 🌿🌼
Join us in a cozy learning experience as we explore platonic touch and cuddles in community at Vasa the Studio! We will use an alchemy of well-tested consensual communication exercises to expand our capacities for platonic connection and play! In this guided and experiential group session, you will learn and practice consensual cuddling skills, such as saying ‘no’ with self-compassion, exploring different cuddle positions, and sharing platonic touch with (self)trust.
Session Flow: opening circle, somatic grounding, consensual cuddling practice led by Jozelle, reflection + discussion, create your own cuddle adventure in community, closing circle
While touch is very welcome, it is not required to participate.
There will be spaces to process, chill alone, stim, witness, and take breaks.
There will also be space for platonic spoon trains, bear hugs, reading, journaling and much more!

“Experiencing Jozelle’s first “Intro to Consensual Cuddling” group exploration was truly a gift. This experience was playful, informative, and deeply moving for me as a queer person of color! Jozelle and their co-facilitator, Fatima, took great care of our group by prioritizing accessibility and collaboration throughout our three-hour session.
What stood out to me was their tender leadership, which guided us through journaling prompts as well as partner and group discussions on consent. I learned so much about honoring my “No.”, listening deeper to my “YES!”, and negotiating physical touch with others. But the biggest takeaway for me was that cuddling is not only about consensual touch, but also about mindfully embodying ourselves so we can intentionally share presence together.
Jozelle is truly suited for this work because the wonderful and powerful experience they created continues to nourish me, even several weeks later!”
