🤎🧸 QTBIPOC KIN + ALLIES 🧸🤎
Welcome to the Group Cuddle—a cozy afternoon of connection, cuddles, and consent! An experiential workshop and social gathering, the Group Cuddle celebrates sharing platonic cuddles and authentic connection in community.
About the Cuddle:
In this guided group session led by Jozelle Wong Yu, MA (she/they) and Brithany Marbun, ACSW (they/them), you will learn and practice consensual cuddling skills through an alchemy of well-tested consent and cuddle exercises, reflections, and games.
Together, we will practice sharing and receiving personal boundaries with compassion, expressing our body's true desires for connection, and exploring new ways of cuddling within an encouraging environment.

🤎🧸 Group Cuddle Review 🧸🤎
“I didn't know how deeply I needed this until I was already in it—wrapped not just in blankets and pillows, but in a community that saw me, heard me, and honored my no as much as my yes.
This space created by Jozelle, 12th House Tea Sanctuary, and Group Cuddle attendees was a revelation. For the first time in a long time, I felt like my body had full permission to speak its truth. I practiced saying no with compassion. I practiced saying yes with a deep sense of worthiness, and I learned that platonic touch can be sacred and safe when held with intention and consent.
The environment was so cozy, disarming, and playfully reverent. It wasn’t just about cuddles—it was about liberation. I’ve brought these embodied lessons into my everyday life: setting boundaries with more ease, asking for what I want with more clarity, and receiving affection with more trust.
Thank you, Jozelle, for building a container where healing, exploration, and joy get to coexist! You remind us all that our softness is our power.”

🌼🌿 Group Cuddle Review 🌿🌼
“I’ve never been to a group cuddle until I attended this one and I can only say, ‘Thank god!!’ I could not imagine a more perfect experience….
…I was so touched by Jo’s incredible knowledge and awareness of the needs of their QTBIPOC participants. It was clear that this event was deeply informed and deep empathetic towards the experiences of their QTBIPOC participants, making it a radical and liberating space.
I felt deeply moved by this experience. I’ve been on a healing journey for years now, and this group came right at fate’s perfect time. I feel expanded, more confidence and excited to experience touch in ways I’ve never experienced before. Like very many of us, trauma has curtailed by ability to enjoy touch of any kind. This experience felt paramount in my ability to continue on my healing journey. I feel more liberated and brave knowing I have the tools to create safety in my body. I cannot thank Jo enough and I truly cannot wait until the next group.”

✨🌸 Intro to Consensual Cuddle Review ✨🌸
“Experiencing Jozelle’s first “Intro to Consensual Cuddling” group exploration was truly a gift. This experience was playful, informative, and deeply moving for me as a queer person of color! Jozelle and their co-facilitator, Fatima, took great care of our group by prioritizing accessibility and collaboration throughout our three-hour session.
What stood out to me was their tender leadership, which guided us through journaling prompts as well as partner and group discussions on consent. I learned so much about honoring my ‘No.’, listening deeper to my ‘YES!’, and negotiating physical touch with others. But the biggest takeaway for me was that cuddling is not only about consensual touch, but also about mindfully embodying ourselves so we can intentionally share presence together.
Jozelle is truly suited for this work because the wonderful and powerful experience they created continues to nourish me, even several weeks later!”
